After-hours answering for HVAC companies
When the AC quits at 9 p.m., someone kind picks up.
After Hours Answer Desk answers your calls when your team can't. It listens, takes the caller's details and appointment request, and sends anything urgent straight to your on-call person, so you can rest and your customers feel looked after.
Our demo line is an AI assistant. It will tell you so, and it will tell you the call is recorded.

How it works
Four quiet steps between a worried customer and your morning.
Your line forwards
For the hours you choose, such as evenings, overnight and weekends, your business line forwards to us. Or only when nobody else picks up.
We answer as your company
Our AI assistant greets the caller by your company name, says it is a virtual assistant, and lets them know the call may be recorded.
We listen and take details
Name, service address, callback number, what's wrong, and how urgent it is, using questions you approve. Details are read back to be sure they're right.
The right message reaches you
An appointment request is recorded. Anything you define as urgent goes right away to your on-call contact. You get a summary of every call.
Setup is gentle. A 20 to 30 minute setup call to learn your hours, service area, greeting and urgent-call rules. Then a test call, and nothing answers a live customer until you've approved it.
What the assistant handles
Everything a calm, careful receptionist would do after dark.
Built around the calls HVAC companies miss most: the dead AC, the cold house, the strange noise.
It will
- Answer as your company and be upfront that it is an AI assistant
- Take the caller's name, service address, callback number and what's wrong
- Record appointment requests for your team to confirm
- Send urgent messages to your on-call contact, following your rules
- Read details back to the caller so nothing is misheard
- Send you a summary of every call
Safety first. If a caller describes a hazard such as a gas smell, smoke or carbon monoxide, the assistant tells them to contact 911 or their gas utility.
It won't
- Pretend to be a person
- Take payments or card numbers
- Diagnose equipment
- Quote prices or arrival times beyond what you've told it
- Act as an emergency or 911 service
- Promise any number of calls, jobs or revenue
Anything it can't handle becomes a clear message for you.

An honest word about AI
It's an AI, and it will always say so.
We think callers deserve to know who they're talking to. Our assistant is artificial intelligence, and it says that clearly at the start of every call, in plain words. It never claims to be a person, and it never claims to be the owner.
- Every call may be recorded, and callers are told up front.
- If someone asks, "Is this a robot?", the answer is simply yes.
- Callers' information goes to you, and we don't sell it.

Questions, answered plainly
Good things to ask us.
Is it a real person on the line?
No. It's an AI assistant, and it tells every caller so at the start of the call. Anything urgent is passed straight to your on-call contact, a real person on your team.
Are calls recorded?
Yes, calls may be recorded, and callers are told at the beginning. Recordings and transcripts are processed by our phone and voice providers, Twilio and ElevenLabs. Our Privacy Policy explains the details.
What happens in a real emergency?
We are an answering service, not an emergency service. If a caller describes a hazard such as a gas smell, smoke or carbon monoxide, the assistant tells them to contact 911 or their gas utility.
How do I get started?
Request a demo or call our line to hear it. If you like it, we hold a 20 to 30 minute setup call, you approve a test call, and you set up call forwarding. Nothing answers a live caller until you're happy.
What does it cost?
$49 setup, $199/mo for months 1–2 (2-month minimum, $447 total), then $325/mo month to month, cancel anytime after the minimum. Each month includes 300 minutes. Additional minutes are quoted in the written summary we send before you sign up, and nothing is charged until you've reviewed it. The details are in the pricing section.
Will it bring me more jobs?
We can't promise that, and we won't. It's an answering service. It makes sure the after-hours calls you do get are answered kindly, recorded accurately and passed to you.
Do I have to agree to calls or texts to learn more?
No. The consent box on our form is optional and unchecked. You can send the form without it, and agreeing is never a condition of buying anything.
Let's talk
Hear how it sounds, then decide.
Tell us a little about your company and we'll set up a short demo, or simply call the line and listen for yourself.
This is our demo line. You'll reach our AI assistant, which will tell you it's an AI and that the call may be recorded.
